Are You Going To Crufts?

 

With only 1 week left until Crufts 2022 we thought we’d give you a rundown of what’s on at the biggest dog show in the world! Started in 1891 it’s now in its 131st year.

This year Crufts is taking place from 10th – 13th March at The NEC Birmingham – it sees 20,000 dogs competing for a number of awards, including the world-class title of Best in Show. There is also a number of other dog activities such as agility, flyball and heelwork to music.

Main Arena – is where you can watch all of the action from agility, flyball, the police display dogs and heelwork to music. Plus the most iconic part of Crufts – The best in Show (Note – you will need to purchase extra tickets to best in Show which is held on the Sunday)
The main Arena does fill up quickly so if there is an activity you’d like to watch make sure to get there early!

Agility Kennel Club British open final (Jumping)
Flyball team quarter-finals
Friday 11th March:
Good Citizen Dog Scheme display
Rescue dog agility display
Heelwork to music competition
Saturday 12th March:
Hearing dogs 40th anniversary
Lowland search and rescue
Medical detection dogs display
Scruffts crossbreed competition
Sunday 13th March:
Flyball team final
Southern Golden Retriever display team
Her majesties the Queen’s Gundogs
Gamekeepers competition final

Discover Dogs Area – has over 200 breeds of pedigree dog for you to meet. You will be able to talk to their knowledgeable owners and breeders, you can get all the information about the breed such as advice on grooming, training and whether the breed is right for you. You may find the breed your perfect canine companion would be. 

Breed Rings – Every day at Crufts focuses on different types of breeds, so you’ll probably choose a day that you are most likely to see the breeds of dogs you own or are your favourite. There are 7 groups of breed at Crufts these are the days they are showing: 

Thursday 10th March Working and Pastoral 

Friday 11th March Terrier and Hound 

Saturday 12th March Utility and Toy 

Sunday 13th March Gundog – Plus Best in show

Shopping – Alongside the events and information, Crufts is also a shopping heaven. More than 500 trade stands feature special show offers and exciting new products that are perfect for both you and your furry friends. Make sure you allow yourself enough time to shop till you drop!
